Collection of data when visiting our site

Each visit to our shop and every request to a file is logged. This serves only for system-related and statistical reasons. The following is logged: name of the file requested, date and time of the request, data transferred, message about successful request, browser, referring domain and IP address. Information that can be traced back to your person cannot be extracted from this data.

A combination of this data with other data soruces does not occur. Moreover, the data is so compressed after a statistical analysis that a correlation is not possible anymore.

Ongoing person details are only collected if you supply these out of your free will, within the limits of a query or an order.

Collection of data during the order

During the order, the following personal details are collected:

• Name and Surname
• Date of Birth
• Address
• E-mail Address
• Telephone Number

We use this data for the processing of your order and for contacting you. Furthermore, your person-related data is used for delivering the goods, credit-checks and the processing of payments.

We save your e-mail address when you subscribe to the newsletter for adverts and market research till you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
The delivery of advertising material can be obviously withdrawn at a time coming into effect in the future.

Furthermore, we use your data in order to update our records, to keep your customer accounts with us and to avert misuse of our website.

Right to Disclosure, Deletion and Blocking

Naturally we are prepared, pursuant to the BDSG, to disclose to you all your details saved with us. Pursuant to the requirements of the Federal Data Protection Laws, you have the right, coming into effect in the future, to request the deletion or blocking of your data. Furthermore, pursuant to §4g BDSG, we are available to give information regarding the data-processing procedures deployed, pursuant to §4e BDSG, to anyone.

Legal Basis

The collection and processing of person-related details takes place exclusively within the scope of the legal requirements of the Federal Data Protection Law (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Data Transfer

We use a secure server with SSL technology and 128-bit encryption to transfer your personal details during the ordering process. The SSL process (Secure-Socket-Layer) is currently the most safe data transfer process on the Internet, and is supported by most browsers. All information transfered with this secure method are encrypted before being sent to us. Therefore it is ensured that no unauthorized person can read and use your details.

In our shop all customer information are saved on secure servers that are not accessible to unauthorized persons, and are also protected from external access through a "Firewall".

Pursuant to §5 BDSG, we are obliged to secrecy regarding person-related details. We take serious responsibilty with regard to your person details.

Forwarding to Third-parties

In no way whatsoever do we sell information to third-parties.
We forward the details that we received from you only for the following reasons and reduced to the minimum possible.

Order Delivery
The forwarding of the address details to both our shipping partners is required for the delivery of your order:
For shipping within Germany: Hermes Logistik GmbH & Co. KG
For shipping within Europe: Deutsche Post AGCo.

A transfer of data to the service provider partners is carried out pursuant to the agreements of the Federal Data Protection Law.

You can obviously withdraw at any time, coming into effect in the future, your acceptance. Something else is then applicable if we are required to disclose or forward your details as a result of laws or through a court order.

Fowarding to Third-parties abroad

Personal details are only forwarded to third-parties outside Germany if this is required for the execution of your order, i.e. if the shipping or invoice address is outside Germany. In this case we exclusively forward the corresponding address details to the transport company for the delivery. Further data is not forwarded in other countries. We make sure that the forwarding of information takes place in accordance with this data protection declaration and German data protection laws.

Our shop system uses cookies in many places. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not include viruses or other malware. They only serve in making our shop easier to use, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your cmputer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies used by us are „session- cookies“. They are automatically deleted after you finished your visit.
