Disadvantages compared to Cotton
Heavier; Cannot be steamed; Wrinkles; Less wear resistant; Rayon is senstive against rubbing especially when wet; Wringling and spin-dry; Manufacture of the fibers also in the rayon process; Conversion of the cellulose in the yarn liquid with modified processes.
