Woven Laces

Woven laces consist of a warp and a weft system and are made on special lace looms. The patterns are created by interlacing the threads with one another and are almost unlimited in variety.

Production and properties

Producing woven lace is very time-consuming and costly – it is therefore considered one of the finest types of lace. Woven lace is not elastic in itself; elasticity is achieved by blending in elastane.

Where you will find it

Woven lace is used mainly in the premium underwear segment, for example in fine lingerie and elegant day- and nightwear.
