Wool

For high-quality underwear, wool from the extra-fine hairs of the Merino sheep is used. The international wool mark "Virgin Wool" certifies that the wool comes from living sheep and is being used for the first time.

Properties of Merino virgin wool

Merino virgin wool has excellent properties that show especially well in knitted fabrics: it keeps the body warm and dry, balances temperature and has a natural elasticity. Unlike coarser wool qualities, fine Merino wool hardly itches, even on sensitive skin.

Where you will find it

Typical uses are warming underwear and vests for the cold season – often in blends with cotton or silk that combine the advantages of both fibres.
