Grading (Sizes)

In grading, the basic pattern of a model is transferred to all the garment sizes required.

Measurement systems as the basis

Special measurement systems – for example the Hohenstein tables – are applied to the products, taking into account aspects such as fashion and the fabrics used. The goal: a good fit, correct sizing and a consistent look in every size.

From computer to production

The basic data stored in the computer make it possible to create the cutting patterns needed for production – for every size in the range.
